Computerization of Department of Registration &
Stamps in Karnataka
Computerisation is aimed at
- Improvement in the efficiency of the
department.
- Improving the image of the department in
general by more efficient service.
- Bring more transparency to the technical
nature of the duties in the department.
- The system with built-in market value
intelligence.
- The Issue of Encumbrance Certificates from
any Sub-Registrar Office.
- The admissible technology to archive the
documents for very long period.
- The integrated feature for data input at
Sub-Registrar Office during the registration process for the
compilation of various MIS Reports to be sent to District
Registrar Office through E-Mail.
- The feature through EIS to support the decision bench on revision of
stamp duty, amendment of registration act etc.,
At first phase 12 Sub Registry
Offices in Bangalore Urban District were identified for computerization.
As of now all the 224 Sub-Registrars offices
have been computerised. The
following major activities of Sub Registry Offices were
chosen for computerization.
